Since most public transportations (bus, subway/metro) are not available 24/7, make sure to check the bus schedules when using late night bus. During busy hours, it is hard to find a taxi driver and the you may have to pay for extra fare for late night use. Despite of a bit higher price, Blacklink provides a hassle free and comfortable door-to-door transfer service from Incheon Airport (ICN) and Gimpo Airport (GMP) to your lodging or from your lodging to ICN and GMP.

Don't sweat outside waiting for other transportation with your luggage. Make a round trip reservation with Blacklink as you plan for your trip. It is easy, convenient and available 24/7. Then, the assigned Blacklink driver will greet you at the arrival and will drive you to the itaewon (station). You can use Blacklink for not only hotel but also Gimpo Airport (GMP), Myeongdong, Jongno-gu, guesthouse, resort, airbnb, lodging and anywhere you want to go in Korea. Thank you for the nice experience with Blacklink airport transfer. It was easy for us to locate the driver as he was already waiting at the gate where we exited. The rate of Blacklink is also lower than other airport transfer providers. And the size of the car is just right for the 3 of us. The car also looks elegant. The pocket wifi for rent is also a big help since I don't need to queue at the wifi rental counter at the airport. This is very convenient for arriving tourists. And the rental price is also reasonable.

We could not have had a better driver. He was on time. Very friendly. Very professional. The only issue was tips. We don't carry cash and had nothing to tip. We should be allowed to tip them from the vehicle with a machine like the taxi drivers had. I will definitely be utilizing your services again.

itaewon (station)

markerItaewon Station

There are many restaurants in Itaewon serving cuisine that are not widely available in Korea, such as those from India, Pakistan, Turkey, Southeast Asia, Britain, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain and Mexico. Essentially, it's known as "Western Town," reminiscent of many Chinatowns in Western nations. Itaewon, along with Insadong and Seoul Tower, is one of the most popular places in Seoul for tourists. Major hotels such as the Grand Hyatt and local landmark Hamilton Hotel are here as well as dozens of shops and services aimed at tourists. High-quality leather products are sold at reasonable prices (though haggling is expected) as well as traditional Korean souvenirs. Counterfeit goods and clothing items are ubiquitous and of varying qualities. Some authentic goods that are only produced in Korea for the international market, as well as some authentic imports are also available. Itaewon is known for its clothesmakers who produce custom-made suits. Aside from the local businesses, there is a rich community of business owners, including a pie shop owner from the U.S.A. (Tartine), authentic American burgers, a wine bar, an Austrian delicatessen (with an array of cheeses and meats), a veterinarian/pet groomer with an excellent reputation, a chiropractor from Oregon, doctors and nurses, pharmacists and grocery shop owners. Many foreigners in Korea reside within or near Itaewon, as well as some of the richest Korean businesspeople, including Lee Kun-Hee, the chairman of Samsung group.
